An iconic public building with restaurants, entertainment and private storage solutions is being realized at the bottom ramp of the exit Borchwerf 2 on the A17.
The building’s almost sculptural character is being created by lifting the 100m long volume off the ground and making the ground floor very transparent. The changes in height underline this impression. The dark grey outer shell consisting of steel plates and the slanted columns also contribute to the independent character of the main mass.
The ground floor houses several restaurants, including a fast-food restaurant with a drive-in. The upper floors are occupied by - amongst other things - a small casino and self-storage units.
